July 2026 Members Meeting Recap
The July Members Meeting was called to order by Andy Haddix at 7:35 PM. There were 12 members present. The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a moment of silence in honor of those who are sick, those who have passed, and our military.
Reports
The minutes from the June Members Meeting were read by Andy Haddix.
The Treasurer's Report was presented by Andy Haddix.
A report from the most recent Board Meeting was also provided by Andy Haddix.
Club Reminder
Members are reminded to keep their lots, campers, and surrounding grounds clean and well maintained. Lots that are not properly maintained may be subject to a $40 maintenance fee added to the annual lot rent.
Old Business
The following projects from the April 18 Cleanup Day remain on the club's to-do list:
Inspect all river decks for safety.
Repair and paint the playground equipment.
Continue researching the cost of installing internet service at the club.
New Business
Thank you to everyone who donated toward this year's Fourth of July fireworks display! The show was a great success. We look forward to building on that success next year with continued member support and donations.
Upcoming Events
August 1 – Back to School Celebration featuring a fun house and games for the kids.
August 15 – Golf Outing at Clifty Creek Golf Course. Tee time is 8:00 AM.
August 19 – Board Meeting followed by the Members Meeting.
September 5 – Cornhole Tournament followed by a community dinner at 6:00 PM. Please bring a dish to share. The club will provide hamburgers and hot dogs.
September 16 – Board Meeting followed by the Members Meeting.
October 10 – Adult Halloween Party. Dinner begins at 6:00 PM. Bring a dish to share, and the club will provide the meat.
October 14 – Board Meeting followed by the Members Meeting.
October 30 – Kids Hayride and Trick-or-Treat. Dinner begins at 6:30 PM. The club will provide hamburgers and hot dogs. Please bring a dish to share and candy for the kids.
November 7 – Bingo at 6:00 PM. Bring a snack and your own drink.
November 11 – Board Meeting followed by the Members Meeting. 2027 memberships will be available.
December 9 – Voting from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. 2027 memberships are due.
December 12 – Breakfast with Santa from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 PM.
